I make small spaces for myself, because I love the flow state that I enter when I focus, focus, focus on the tiniest of objects. I make these spaces as an exploration of imagining and creating and working with materials that I love. I add to my village of rooms and houses and imagined places, each built with intention: the viewer should feel something.Â

I've experimented with how small a room can be and still feel inviting.
Not all of the spaces cultivate positive feelings. These claustrophobic little rooms were made at the height of the pandemic.
